Dr. Marc Anson Weitzel, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Weitzel since 2020 and have been telling him my symptoms and issues but he is so dismissive it makes me feel like I’m crazy. He doesn’t listen to my concerns, is so quick to compare me to “recent studies”, and he answers his phone or is eating during my visit. I also feel like I go round and round with medications and diagnostic tests that read abnormal but he says they are normal. It’s my own fault for staying this long but I am finally going to transfer care.

First visit and not impressed. For the money he wants, you would think he would take time to understand concerns and relate to you.

As a 50 year old who had a heart attack...Dr Weitzel literally saves my life. His bedside manner is awesome & his knowledge, experience, & advanced clinical skills & expertise are exceedingly impressive!! I would highly recommend Dr Weitzel.

No doubt the man can save your life but I’m concerned with his short fuse. I think he needs happy pills cause if you ask for further clarification he seems to get short with you as if ‘I know more than you so do as I say!’

My father had an appointment at 1:30 at the Clinton office. We were there at 1:00 p.m. There were 24 other patients in front of us...and at 1:45 my father decided to leave because we still hadn't even been checked in. The front desk girl was extremely rude. The stress of being in the waiting room was enormous and not something heart patients need to endure. Would not recommend this doctor. He may be a great doctor, but a HORRIBLE business man. Please get someone to manage your schedule better so you don't anger patients before they even get to see you. VERY POOR office staff as well.

Dr. Weitzel conveys a true caring character. He simply has more patients (work load) than he can handle and do an accurate, thorough job. He certainly does not have time for new patients/business. His PA is very indecisive and certainly not a decision maker. His hard work is a virtue but doing way too much puts the patients individual heath at risk.

My visit was everything I would expect from a fully trained cardiologist. I was diagnosted accurately and promptly. I will definitely keep him as my cardiologist.

After going to several doctors, he found the tumor in my heart, had it removed, and I made a complete recovery. The Dr. and Pa. spent all the time needed to discuss my concerns.

We are overly pleased with Dr Weitzel and could not ask for anything more

This doctor is a faily caring person but he just has too many patients to take care of them all. There is no telling how long you will be waiting room to even get back to the exam room much less see the doctor or his PA.
