Dr. Marcel Twahirwa, MD

I would never recommend this Dr where his employees are more important than his patients. After waiting for more than a hour because his receptionist forgot to log me in, he still wanted for me to wait for another hour. Worst experience ever, I will look for a dr who puts his patients first. Before this appointment I ended up in ICU because he wouldn't give me the necessary meds. All these bad reviews he has I wished I would have read them before. Now I am wondering if he is even a dr.

Can never get the Prescriptions I need. I see him very three months and have this problem every time.

I was referred to Dr. Twahirwa by my Endo who made the appointment for me. Got to his office for the 8:30 appointment, Was NOT even taken back for vitals until 12:30, because the office said they had forgotten me. Talked with Dr. for 10 mins, He seemed rushed and had me come back again for labs. Every appointment is like this, Dr. seems to be a nice person, very friendly, but always rushed. And rushed to send me into a dangerous cure without advising me of all the potential side effects to me and my family. Waiting room is always packed, Staff and nurses are rude, The one thing that is causing me to seek another Dr. is because I have called his office repeatedly in the past 3 weeks and 4 times in one week, begging Dr. to call me about my recent change of symptoms and advice. Each time a nurse tells me he will call me back later that afternoon and I NEVER get a return call from him or his nurse. I have a critical condition and feel he should at least respond to my… concerns. And a follow-up call would be nice, too. I like you a lot Dr. T. but I suggest you get a new and improved staff and an extra Dr. or two in your practice to help with your patient load. Also it would be nice if you could spend some time talking with your patients, addressing our concerns and returning our calls. Note to Staff: We patients are SICK when we come in to your office. Please treat us with compassion and respect. We don't want to be in your office any more than you want to be there. Get another job if you can't handle patients with compassion.

I went to this doctor as a new patient. My husband went in with me. I recently lost my Thyroid and wanted a second opinion about my thyroid treatment (that I have to take for the rest of my life) This doctor acted like I was really using up his precious time. The doctor hurried me and I had more questions to ask. He just said get blood work done and come back in 6 weeks. This doctor is terrible and his patient load is HUGE!!! There are two waiting rooms and they were both full. My husband and I believe he spent about a total of 5 minutes with me. I will NOT be going back to Dr. Twahirwa. I will go to Dr. Mercy Moore I will have to wait 4 months to get in to see her. Everyone that goes to Dr Moore loves her and she takes all the time you want with your doctor.

He is a great doctor

Clinic very over-booked. Wait times of over 3 hours. Practice almost exclusively treats diabetes. Poor follow-through.
