Dr. Marcella Ann Bonnici, MD

I established with this doctor under my new insurance through my employer. She order me lots of lab work because I haven't really been feeling my best and I wanted to see how bad my anemia has gotten...once my results came in I asked to Pay for a televisit so that I can get my results over the phone and possibly start whatever treatments I needed to, if needed because my work schedule was not allowing me to take off of work to go sit in her face so she can just give me my blood work results....I was told No and that I needed to come in her office just to get my blood work results. The receptionist said she would ask her if I can please schedule a televisit...even her medical assistant said that should be a problem...but they called me back to say that she refuses and I needed to come in. Now what if I have some major illness and need to immediately start on a medication? Dr. Bonnici denied me My health care after I pay her very good insurance money! DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR

Sorry to say not impressed. I waited a long time to see this doctor. I was greeted with a sub, par greeting almost cold, like sat down went over the basics. My first visit I was surprised I did not even get an exam where they check your heart look in your ears all that kind of basic stuff nothing. She basically didn’t say much at all. I ordered the blood test that I always get. I had asked for a referral to a dermatologist. She said I had to wait because I was a new patient? What? Then I tried to call the office to change my prescription she had given me back to my old prescription I guess I had to leave a message. No one ever called me back it’s been a week so I will find another doctor. Not putting up with any of that, sorry

Me and my family are been a patient of Dr bonnice for over 10 years. Fantastic Doctor caring and knowledgeable awesome service so the nurses and receptionist

DO NOT EVEN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH HER! You will be very sorry. This poor excuse for a human being much less a doctor is not fit to treat an animal! She is so cold and uncaring now. After over 10 yrs she completely dropped the ball on my care! I'm a cancer survivor and she NEVER asked about my remission or my annual colonoscopies even tho I was having issues that I talked about, she never seemed to really care. Her bedside manner is just pitiful. She is non empathetic, almost heartless. I was diagnosed with"borderline diabetes" in '17 & even tho I asked several times & even had another physical (which I was billed for a physical but I did NOT get a physical!) she NEVER followed up with me about it! Even to this day! Then her and her staff began playing games with my care! Intentionally sending the wrong orders to Labs and imaging centers, etc. I had to get my insurance company involved at that point! After dealing with her and her staff, my insurance company filed a complaint… against her! They also sent me complaint forms! I wanted to give her one more chance so I tried to make an appointment to talk about everything...SHE REFUSED TO SEE ME OR SPEAK TO ME! I WAS TOLD TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR! Also, she gave me meds that were in contradiction with my other meds and she knew it and I knew it! It was for weight loss...she didn't care about me or my health! She just wanted to shut me up and get rid of me! She will push all of her skincare crap on you, biomedical, whatever she's soliciting! If you don't buy anything, she WILL TURN ON YOU!

Stay away from this disorganized office and staff.

Doctor needs to run her office and not let it run her. Getting thru is impossible without many, many calls. RN is full of herself and does not follow-thru on anything correctly. Poor receptionist who tries to manage all these personalities. LABwork needs to be timely, doctor must keep up on prescriptions and follow-up and call back customers. As if she doesn't care once the appt. is over. Wrong dose of a med, hospitalized twice in one week and couldn't even get decent help from office. Still no labwork or prescriptions. Who needs this. Plenty of incompetent doctors who aren't moody everywhere. SHAME on this operation. Lucky I am still alive.

The staff is rude, they had 1 nurse that was nice but I only saw her there a few times. Everyone else in the office is incompetent, they sent me bills for flu shots we recieved that were covered 100% by our insurance company and had been paid for by the insurance company within a month of receiving the shots, yet they continuously sent me bills each month for an entire year. The medical group and the insurance company both told them to stop sending me bills but they wouldn't stop. The last time I went to this office was for a nail infection, the doctor put me on 3 different antibiotics, 1 for an entire month, the pharmacist didnt even want to give them to me because the combination was so extreme, they actually recommended trying a product from the nail care isle first and I wish I had listened because the antibiotics ended up making me very sick.

This is a great office; however, not getting test results, waiting and calling over and over for appointments, staff receptive but underqualified, and doctor does not take responsibility for her patients and calling them back, etc. Not sure what the problem is but office help is very important and so is follow-up no matter how good a doctor is...wouldn't want to have a heart attack and have the paperwork go unnoticed.

I recommend her because of her skilled attention to detail.
