Dr. Marcella Caldi Scalcini, MD

Dr Scalcini had spent a lot of time reviewing my extensive history before my appointment. She was prompt and patient. She spent over an hour with me going over my history and giving me the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. She seems truly concerned about my health. She was very kind and funny too. She is older but AMAZING!!

Cranky old woman. Probably mildly senile. If you are scheduled to see her... ask for someone else!

Worst experience. Old cranky lady, very hyperactive, doesn not listen properly, always in a rush, always late, no follow up, no response to questions, ignores stuff she does not want to answer. In a hurry to finish with patients. Does not analyze nor provide any solution. Good at administrative task of sending you to different specialists and getting information from them. But clearly lacks the ability to put it all together and come up with a comprehensive plan and accurate diagnosis. Seems lost as is very busy and never follows up. Very difficult lady, strong headed and non empathetic.

Worst medical experience of my life. Very disappointed in quality of Mayo doctor.

I was having complex medical problems and had an extensive work-up with my regular doctors. She really took alot of time to review my case with me and discuss options which I really appreciated. Very complete history and examination. Excellent!

Very professional but with sincere warmth, concern and interest in her patient.

When you are sick you want someone to care about you and that is just what Dr.Scalcini does. She is Great!
