Dr. Marcelo Montorzi, MD

It was a fortunate day when we met him 15 years ago when we had many medical needs. With is the best diagnostician always listening carefully to find the best medical procedure . He diagnosed a rare fast advancing autoimmune disease at early stage which saved my husband's lungs and kidneys. Everyone should be lucky enough to have a doctor like him . When he left BWH for a short period we followed him to Westfield Hospital. It was the happiest moment to see him return to BWH . He is the finest doctor with great sensitivity to his patients needs. I wish every doctor could be trained to be like Dr. Montorzi!

Dr. Montorzi is a fabulous doctor who actually takes time with you and listens carefully to what you have to say, making him a great diagnostician. This kind of thoroughness and attentiveness is lacking with many other doctors. You rarely have to wait very long for him and if he's ever late, he's profusely apologetic (it's usually for something completely out of his hands). He is respectful, modest, and very, very professional. He's like an "old school" doctor with modern medicine knowledge. I don't know who I'd go to if he no longer practiced. He is heads and shoulders above any other internist I've ever been seen by.

Dr. Montorzi is so far beyond the best Internist it is absurd to compare him to the competitors in this class of service. He provides more time per visit than any physician I have seen. He also provides complete answers to what must seem to be less than cogent questions, all without flinching. He is singular in Boston medicine.
