Dr. Marcia Ann Brontman, MD

Dr Marcia Ann Brontman is friends with my mother Helen Gutreich and my mother ran her big mouth to her and they talked bad about me including my own mother and Dr Marcia Ann Brontman both talked about me and said to my mother I need to be put on lithium and I am not even her patient and it is not recommended for friends to treat friends or their kids either and Marcia gave my mother a suggestion to help me and its A CONFLICT OF INTEREST I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR and she shouldn't be telling my mother to have me try lithium and my own psychiatrist even took this lady's suggestion I dont know her and I dont want to know her or meet her but I want Dr Marcia Ann Brontman in trouble and I do not even live in Chicago I have had other professionals help me too that were friends with my father mother and aunt A HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER! I hate her with a passion my mother was like "she is trying to "help you" (Meaning Me) I do not want help from someone who is… friends with family members I wonder if she can get in trouble! I am glad I do not live in Chicago her picture is ugly too btw

I was referred to Dr. Brontman after the psychiatrist I was originally referred to was unavailable. I understood her fee of $350 and I solely agreed because I heard she was good and made me think that wasn't going to be a waste of my time. *You also have to submit ya claim to your insurance and hope they reimburse you, so good luck there. Unfortunately, I did not see any value in our only session which I thought was an evaluation. She said she would contact my therapist and my therapist said she was never contacted. I left with making the decision to not get on an off brand label prescription that didn't make much sense in the first place. I would not recommend her, as I felt left in the dust and not understood. Hope you have a better evaluation than I did.

A good psychiatrist, like my previous one, knows to go very slowly when withdrawing from medication. I never lost any teeth with him. But Dr. Brontman ordered me to stop taking my meds--all at once. (They were causing depression) Stupidly, i listened to her. But then, each night before I fell asleep, my jaws would clench down hard--really hard. Every night for a few weeks. My teeth became loose and one by one, they fell out. Dr. Brontman had left the hospital--maybe that's why she was in such a hurry. Because of her haste, I now only have teeth in the upper right side of my mouth and two teeth on the bottom left. It seems to be basic knowledge among good doctors to withdraw from psychiatric meds gradually. A careful, caring, well-trained doctor would follow this rule. But Dr. Brontman, because of her haste, left me problems eating, speaking, my lower lip being cut by my upper teeth when I sleep, the inside of my lower lip cut by down to the gum by my upper teeth when… I eat, and some disfigurement due to shrinking of my lower jaw. The bone of my lower jaw continues to shrink.
