Dr. Marcia Ann Caron, MD

Dr. Caron is an amazing doctor and I’ve tried to tell everyone I know about her because I’m that impressed. She is the only doctor I’ve ever had that I have never felt that she is in a rush when she meets with me. When she asks about my life, it doesn’t feel like obligatory chit chat. She genuinely cares about her patients. As we chat, she picks up on things that might impact my health negatively and she really listens to my concerns and answers all my questions (and never makes me feel like I’m taking up too much of her time). She always makes me feel comfortable and never judged. I also appreciate how she presents medication options by highlighting pros and cons. I can’t sing her praises enough!

I saw her for bad pain and had labs done. I could see the results in 1-2 days but didn’t hear anything back. I called to see what next and had to wait 5 more days until she was back in the office. Her schedule was also fully booked out by a month. I called 2x but the nurse lines were busy until the third time. I finally changed doctors. As someone who also works in healthcare, I understand COVID is affecting everything including care and this was just my experience. I was only able to see her once and it did not seem positive.

Dr Car on removed a large fibroid from my uterus a few years ago. Before surgery we discussed another fibroid that was of some size as well and was located by my fallopian tube. I asked her to remove that one as well. She wouldn't because she was worried I would end up needing a historicomy. I told her that would be fine since my husband and I were not planning on having any children. She still refused since I still had a few child bearing years left. While in surgery she nicked my colon and I suffered from sever complications. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and almost died. I had to have 2 blood tranfussions and the hospital almost gave me someone else's blood. Good thing I read the form and saw that there was another name on it! She had a hard time figuring out what went wrong and it was an awful time. Needless to say I made it and am now faced with issues with the fibroids that were left and may need to have more invasive surgery. I was a patient of hers for almost 10years… and now see a different doctor.

Dr. Caron is a very personable doctor who truly seems to care about both you and your baby's health. She takes the time to answer all your questions and ease your mind about anything you may have questions about. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends or family.
