Dr. Marcia Anne Dover, MD

This is not directly to the doctor but it is still a reflection upon her Her office manager wouldn't let me explain what was done upon my back wasn't a surgery but pain management procedure, office manager kim said sorry we don't touch anyone after a back procedure. I said look I have neuropathy and tingle/numb and tight all the time Kim said the doc doesn't deal with anyone that had something done to back Then this Dr. Dover isn't a real neurologist! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING

I am being neglected as a patient here and I couldn't recommend starting with another neurologist more. I have called numerous times within the past two or so months about something Dr. Dover was previously made aware of. I need to be prescribed 90 days' worth of a lessened dose of my medication before leaving the country. Initially, the office would never call me back to follow up with more information. Lately, I keep getting the run around because Dr. Dover tells her office staff that I have already been prescribed what I need (false) and that if I haven't been, I should just split the pills I already have (which are not made for splitting, and are not 90 days' worth.) Recently, I requested that my general doctor reach out on my behalf. There are only three weeks left until I leave the country for 15 months. I am likely going to have to stop taking my prescription cold with the risk of suffering side effects because I do not have time to schedule a consultation with another… neurologist. A patient medicated is not a patient cured... Ask your general doctor for a list of neurologist references in our area and start somewhere professional.

Run away from this inept doctor who has zero interest in helping her patients.

The staff is rude and not concerned with patients at all. After waiting to see Dr Dover I was told Im going to see Dr Stephen. No comparison between the two. When I objected I was told to find another practice. Never go to this office !!!

Go to her if you want minimum care and rude staff.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Dover. She is incredibly compassionate, understanding and kind to her patients. She takes her time observing and picking up on small cues that help with providing a thorough evaluation. Dr. Dover has a genuine, sweet and thoughtful personality. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a great neurologist.

Dr. Dover has become a great mentor while I been going through my illness. Thank you Doctor Dover.

Dr Dover did not answer calls, questions, or requests for more information from me or my other doctors. Her staff would not fax reports or results when requested. RX written with missing information and hospital had to request revisions several times. After 3 appointments and worsening symptoms Dr Dover had a "wait and see" attitude. Talked over me, used medical terms without explanations and condescending tone. When I requested a copy of my records I was reprimanded by her and her staff. Today I received the most unprofessional letter stating to "find myself another neurologist". Letter was unnecessary; my intentions were made clear when I requested a copy of my records... RUN people RUN from Dr Dover and her administrative staff RUN people RUN

Had an appointment today. Arrived 20 minutes before my appointment as requested. Dr. Dover due to my illness was no longer able to treat me 4 years ago. I was her patient for about 3 years. After an hospital stay I was told to see a neurologist. Called my insurance company and they gave me an in network Neurologist. I did not know Dr. Stephens was in her group now. There office allowed me to make the appointment, come to the appointment and fill out all the paper work only for Dr. Stephens to tell me she can not talk to me. The staff wasted 1 month of my time waiting for this appointment which I needed. This office staff is not professional at all. They are thoughtful of the patients.

Worst dr EVER told my mom who is at the end of her MS journey (62 years) and can’t walk without her rolator that she needed to stop using it and start walking, seriously! Run people, RUN!!!
