Dr. Marcia Ann Drewry

If this is the Dr. Marcia Drewry I knew from St. Louis (1982-83) as a nurse and as a beloved Weight Watchers success story (lost 100+ pounds) and popular WW meetings leader, it is painful for me, now living in Palm Bay FL, to read of her serious health setbacks and some unkind reviews. I knew her back then as a caring, kind lady with an almost bubbly personality despite a recent divorce. She inspired me to lose 74 pounds over 7 months....before my cross-country crazy career in radio and TV really piled the pounds back on. They're coming back off now, thanks to drastic lifestyle changes. Of course, such long-term health setbacks like hers could make things very tough for anyone. She is in my thoughts and prayers. She deserves better, as does everyone in the healing arts.

I think this doctor is unprofessional, rude, and has no courtesy. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this doctor to ANYONE! Please do yourself a favor and find someone else. I left the place crying because she just had no heart. She spoke to me like I was nothing and made comments that were unnecessary!

My very first visit with Dr.Marcia Drewry was this past Wednesday and my experience with her was excellent. I liked that fact that she took the time with me and explained everything along the way. I would defiantly recommend Dr. Marcia Drewry to my family and friends and will be visiting her again myself. All in all if you want a doctor that will treat you right and help you along the way then Dr. Drewry is the one for you.For the others that left negative comments about Dr. Drewry being in a wheelchair I have a question for you, Does it really matter whether or not a doctor can walk? I think notas long as they can do their job then the rest of it shouldnt matter!!

Dr Marcia Drewry is the one that needs to be cared for. She is overly obese on a wheelchair. A doctor should be a good example of good health.

Dr. Drewry is to the point and right on with all her diagnoses. She is not there for a social event like some other doctors I have know in the past. This is why I return to see here.

Dr. D needs to retire. She is a bad example, being in a wheel chair w/oxygen because she is so fat! She has type2 and told me how to use insulin in a way as to be able to eat sugar and junk anyway. She has had a heart attack, lost the use of one leg ( from obesity ) and is short tempered. She also makes fun of patients behind their back or to students who are in the room with her. Not professional.

This doctor has seen me three times, has prescribed all my medications including insulin for an insulin pump. Today, she asked me...are you sure you're a type 2 diabetic? I said, no, I'm sure I'm a type 1!!! First appointment, she prescribed two medications I've been taking for two years together. Today she says, you can't take both of the meds at the same time! Ugh!
