Dr. Marcia Lynn Halpern, MD

The worst treatment ever received by a doctor in a crisis situation. She lacks bedside manners. Did not treat any of my symptoms. Wrote off everything in my MRI findings as nothing when my findings on my test results clearly showed their was issues that needed to be addressed. She even went as far as to dismiss what my past doctors diagnosis. Test results don’t lie. I feel she is more a threat to patients and really needs to be evaluated by those in authority as to the care and respect she is giving to patients.

Totally writes you off. Don’t waste your time waiting months for an appointment because she will give you less information than you can find on webmd. Only goes by what’s in your chart even when that information is not accurate. Also not very friendly. Felt like I was ordering a cheesesteak in south philly “what do ya want”. Very discouraging for penn medicine.

Dr. Halpern is a wonderful neurologist who truly cares about her patients. She treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Halpern.

Dr. Halpern saved my life in many ways. She has been my neurologist for 29 years, following the diagnosis of an arterial venus malformation (AVM). Dr. Halpern is reliable, compassionate, and gives her patients unlimited time to discuss and monitor their medical issues. She is most knowledgeable about pharmacology and total healthcare. I highly recommend Dr. Marcia Halpern.

I would never ever see this Dr. again for any manner of treatment or evaluation. They apparently are not affiliated with Jeanes Hospital and it shows. The girl who works in the office, Linda, came across as rude and uncaring, and hung up on me as I requested information, blaming it on Jeanes Hospital. They refuse to follow up as promised, and overall seemed totally uncaring. If you look up this Dr. on Google you will see that she has a horrible rating on several Health websites, and Linda is mentioned on more than one of them. I would never recommend this Dr. or go to her for testing again. I am making a formal complaint with my Healthcare provider asking to have the test redone by a different Dr.

incompetent, nasty bed side manner. does not seem to care about patients. delays starting treatment of her patients for no apparent reason, which in her field is a critical mistake.
