I dont ever do reviews but after reading reviews talking so bad about dr.mastrin I believe the 1-3 star reviews ARE ppl searching for drugs! I go to this doctor it's been 4 years, yes 1st appointment she was very intimidating and asked stern questions about my condition and my life. Personal and work life. If I never went back I probably would have thought she was trying to accuse me of wrong doings....one way or another. But I took a chance and returned for 2nd appointment and fast forward to today she has great bedside manner, she cares about your life and pain and quality of life etc. I hurt my neck somehow about a year ago something i never felt before the pain was a nightmare i could even go to restroom alone and pull clothes down due to my injury anyways I knew I must have hurt it pretty bad. Its scared me I called dr.mastrin ,went in she cared so much didn't think I was med searching CUZ I WASNT AND DIDNT ASK FOR MORE PAIN MEDS I just needed her to help me figure this out and… needed a shoulder to "cry" on I guess. She listened, told me what was wrong and offered the shot she gives in the office which is not narcotic! And by the time I got home I was feeling a bit better it helped so much I was so thankful! So how can I have this experience and the other reviews say she is mean and rude. And why would u go to her if u broke your ankle or for blood pressure medicine. WTH! Get a clue. Just because you hurt yourself doesn't mean u get MORE meds (pain) and go see a family doctor or emergency room if you broke your ankle. This is why I believe u ppl rating 1-3 stars are just mad because you didnt get extra pain meds or that she asked u intrusive questions. And please remember the DEA, OUR POLITIONS & THE MEDIA ARE RUNNING OUR QUALITY OF LIFE DECISIONS NOW. Doctors cant even make decision like if benefit out ways risk... their not allowed to help us anymore. So write them a letter fight for our right to a decent quality of life to be given back. Dont take down a doctor with a bad review when I know dang well she is not a bad or rude doctor. But I'm sure if she thinks your there to search out meds for wrong reasons she wont be nice.

I only give 5 stars if someone completely fixes something, which most haven't so far. But wow, she really listens, she's thorough, she's smart, and kind. She's there to help. That's the most time I've spent with a practitioner in a while. And that's saying something in today's rushed medical world.

Do not give this clinic your health insurance information. It's like handing your credit card to a child. They charge cash for services and if you give them health insurance info they'll try to extract more money that way.

I've been a patent of Doctor Mastrin the past two plus years, and until recently, respected and enjoyed her as a medical provider. She cut me down on my pain meds close to 50%, as my last doctor had my on way too much medication. I went along with her, trusted her, but didn't''t quite agree with what the decrease has done to my quality of life. Her staff has always been good, but don't expect a return phone call if you have to leave a message. In Dec., I was in a bad car accident. The first time I went in after the accident I was mildly surprised she could care less about looking at my broken ankle, or checking out the lumbar spasms and chest pain from the airbag and seatbelt. Last month, I was having a rough time and went in three days early. It was the first time she ever made me feel I was a whiny, drama-queen who just wanted to get her meds early. I resent the fact that I'm struggling with pain and went to a foot/ankle specialist, as there was something very wrong with… what was supposed to be a chipped bone. The foot/ankle that she couldn't even take the time to look at. If she had, she would have come to the same determination as the specialist, that something was very wrong,. After four weeks I still couldn't put any weight on it and it was, and remains, grossly swollen all the way up to my knee. The specialist, suspecting a blood clot, sent me for an MRI and ultrasound last Fri. He said it looked awful, considering it was only supposed to be a chipped bone. I received a call this morning confirming there is something wrong and the specialist wants me back in his office immediately. Simonmed assured me it isn't a blood clot, but his PA told me he found more damage. I suspect something is torn and am very angry at Dr. Mastrin. Maybe she should take a step back and not be so quick to label. And maybe she should occasionally use her medical degree to practice some medicine, instead of playing G-d when it comes to medication. I'm a middle-aged woman who works two jobs and it's been one of the roughest few weeks of my life.

Don't go to this doctor. She is nothing but rude and controlling. She has an attitude from the moment you meet her. She will do anything and everything in her power to accuse you of being a drug seeker or pill pusher. Literally meant a doctor so horrible. Her job is pain management , yet she will do everything possible within her power NOT to prescribe you Pain meds and just take your CASH$$$. Ask yourself, now I KNOW WHY SHE DOESNT ACCEPT INSUANCE!!! SCAMMER Dirty doctor. BTW She refused to prescribe me pain medication I was prescribed for over 6 months at my prior Pain Management. (I wasn't kicked out either)

I started seeing her after my dr of 20 yrs died and I had been refused an appt with one dr ins referred me to and I fired next {doctor?} I was sent to by my insurance. I am happy to pay her oop even though I hv ins because she treats me like an individual patient AND person; not grouped as druggie. I think those complaining are not getting medication doses and types they WERE ; even though I have been decreased on meds by over 50%,I understand it is not personal.

Doctor Mastrin and her staff are very impressive. They are caring, warm and every single person that works there offers a very high level of service. I've been seeing Dr. Mastrin for about 14 mths. and, after seeing a series of not so great pain specialists in this town, she is, by far, one of the best.

This doctor is a joke, she comes in the room on the first visit, with an attitude. One thing about it she isnt there to talk about anything but your meds. Her bed side manner is notorious. I have many physicians in my family none of them have an attitude, i guess you have to have compassion thats something she doesnt have. One would believe she of all people would understand, her exhusband has done it all. Maybe thats why she treats us so badly, or why she assumes we are all druggies. I understand she can lose her license, not everyone is doing drugs or shooting meds, snorting meds, or smoking. She needs to learn how to see whom is or not, and quit grouping all of us into that group. I say dont go to her, because you dont want to look like your doctor shopping, and you wont like her.

She had no compassion. Treated me like a drug addict. Ruined my relationship with doctor of 30 years. I have serious pain. Her staff said they do all the steroid shots in the office. They misinformed me. She is a waste of 250. Please don't go.....

she is awfull.i thought I was her patient.she treated me like I was her enemy.i gave her 250 cash and she wouldn't even prescribe was I was getting for the past 3 years.not to mention my blood pressure meds.she talked bad about the meds I was getting in the past.never ever again would I see her again.she beat me out of my money. I got 3% of the meds I was getting before in a different type of pill.
