Dr. Marcia Lynne Sistek, MD

If you're looking for a snarky, uncooperative staff who is not interested in processing out of network insurance paperwork, this is the place for you. I had a snafu with my insurance which resulted in a denial of coverage. This office denied they made a mistake, said they could do nothing to help and hung up on me. I am now responsible for paying $300 for an appointment which had been previously approved and subsequently was unapproved. This practice has had bad service reviews for years so it is likely the doctor's relative runs the office. Yikes. Run the other way.

Dr. Marcia Sistek at Scottsdale Family Physicians and her staff are disgusting, unethical, incompetent people. I'm reporting them to the medical board for holding meds for no reason and sending them to far off pharmacies when they don't like my attitude. Literally had to threaten to call the police after they held meds for needing a physical, despite it not even being a year since my last one and scheduling one! Do not go here under any circumstances, they are rude, childish, unethical, and useless.

You should hear the comments about patients after you leave! Lack of follow up, unresponsive to phone calls.

These people have taken good care of my family and I for near a decade if not longer. We had a major hiccup with med mix up once but I can't hold a continued grudge against people who so obviously care and worked to correct the situation. I have change my review and rating to reflect my overall experience, not to focus on one mistake.

So done with these idiots. They randomly ignore prescriptions, send them to random far away pharmacies, and make them random amounts. Ive have to cold turkey quit medication just because they kept dropping the ball. I went through SSRI withdrawals because they sent my meds to some random pharmacy and wasn't contacted. Now my meds are 1/3 quantity of my script at a pharmacy over 30 minutes from my home. Absolutely incompetent, at least Dr. Marcia Sistek. Even after like a decade of being a good patient they still couldn't care less. You are terrible and useless people. Edit: I have decided to report this incompetent doctor to the Arizona Medical Association. At the very least I hope it makes her realize that this is not some joke or game.

After years of going to Dr. Sistek's office I have decided to find another Doctor. Her staff is rude and belittling and I am treated like they are doing me a favor by seeing me.

Dr. Sistek is efficient but not very personable. As a general practitioner, I thought eh she's okay and it's not worth finding a new doctor. Her office staff on the other hand are awful to deal with. They're rude, unhelpful, and have a general bad attitude. After years of going to Dr. Sistek, I've finally made the switch to a new doctor, and won't be returning.

Have been going to Dr Sistek for over ten years.......she's great. I hope she never retires

I have been a patient of Dr. Sistek's for 10 years. She is always sweet and friendly but the last four times I have had to deal with her office staff it has been very unpleasant. When I had the flu the office was unable to get me in (even to see another doctor). Mt last two sinus infections I was unable to get in (even to see another doctor). When my prescriptions need to be renewed her staff is very hard to deal with. They don't give you any clear answers on when that will be ready or if it will be ready. Three days into trying to get a prescription renewal the answer I got from her staff was that it was in the queue. When I asked if they would call me when it had been approved they said there was no protocol and that I could just call the pharmacy to see if they had approved it. They were very condescending and rude. I am looking for another doctor. I pay too much in co-pays, deductibles, premiums and prescription cost to put up with bad customer service on top of it.
