Dr. Marcia Yoon Unger, MD

I am going to give a very detailed review about this doctor. Marcia Yoon Unger even called CPS on us. CPS turned out to be the BIGGEST blessing and support system we received. Do NOT recommend this doctor. She put our family through hell. We would tell Marcia the details of how bad things were with our son. It was almost as though she didn’t believe us. Fast forward, CPS recommended a doctor to us, Dr. Ramirez Moya in Roseville. A++++ doctor if you need one. Excellent with children!! Our son is her most complicated case. He is truly complicated. We tried to tell Marcia about hallucinations, possible schizophrenia, etc.. she wasn’t buying any of it. 2 TOP doctors @ UC Davis along with Dr. Ramirez Moya all felt our child was out of Marcia’s league. He has been diagnosed with schizoaffective (schizophrenia & bi polar), psychosis, ODD, ADHD, OCD, Autism, ETC… He sees/hears things that don’t exist, dangerously violent, has evacuated his school bus, his classrooms, etc.. He… is now in his 3rd residential home because he is dangerously violent. Like he would be the child that killed his family and then freak out because he didn’t mean to do it. CPS and the team of doctors encouraged us to to place him due to his dangerous behaviors. He is getting ready to be transferred to his 4th home. It’s THAT bad. He continues to get worse. It’s VERY sad. We held on as long as we could until doctors told us we’ve done it 3-4 years too long and to place him. It was too dangerous for us. The moment he threatened to harm my 5 year old grandson was the day the cops were called and he left our home. Again, I do not recommend this doctor. Gave 1 star because you have to give 1 to write a review. “Dr. Ramirez Moya hands down is the BEST.” Trust me, I’ve had my share of experience in this area.
