Marcie Nicole Nicks

Today was one of the most disappointing experiences my wife and I have had in a medical setting. We visited Advanced Gynecology in Watkinsville to see Marcie Nicks, FNP, for concerns related to my wife’s ongoing pregnancy issues. What we hoped would be a supportive, informative appointment turned into a rushed and disheartening encounter that left us feeling dismissed and disrespected. Marcie Nicks entered the room without properly introducing herself—I had to ask her for her title and credentials. She never sat down during the appointment, never took the time to make eye contact or create a space where my wife felt heard. Instead, she stood leaning in the doorway, with body language that made it clear she didn’t want to be there. Her tone was cold and condescending, and at one point she said she had been “sent in to handle us”—as if we were a problem, rather than patients looking for care. On the Advanced Gynecology website, it states that Ms. Nicks is not only a women's health… provider but also a mother herself. That fact makes this experience even more troubling. As someone who has likely faced her own challenges in motherhood, we would have expected her to offer compassion—especially when speaking with another woman dealing with pregnancy difficulties. Instead, she rushed through the appointment, offered no real support, and seemed more focused on pushing us off to other providers than addressing our concerns. My wife left the office feeling more hopeless than when she arrived. The last thing Ms. Nicks said to us was, “If there are no questions, you guys can leave.” It was clear she wanted us out more than she wanted to help. We came seeking understanding, support, and a little hope. Instead, we were made to feel small, like our concerns didn’t matter. Women—and especially women going through complicated pregnancies—deserve better. Much better. It is my recommendation that if you are a woman looking for medical care to stay as far away from Advanced Gynecology as possible. I have included reviews from Google as well please review them and take them to heart. They are not fake negative reviews. I've experienced this myself. They are honest and truthful.

Marcie is a great partner in your health. She listens, and is always thinking about tge steps to wellness. Her experience shows. She us a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to my neighbors and friends. I look forward to a full recovery because of my confidence in Marcie.
