Dr. Marco Antonio Gutierrez, MD

The thing I remember most is having to wait over 2 hours. I was not informed of such a long wait. I work nights and kept being awaken with callS from the Doctor's office only for them to disconnect the calls, leaving the impression that they DID NOT want to talk to me. I will NOT return to the office and take my business elsewhere as well as my other family members.

it is a great clinic I loved it to be honest the old staff was better when this girl and boy where in charge of the front those two together where great and to be honest if this clinic is so bad why don't just but your names and stop going there. Dr. Gutierrez and his staff are wonderful so far yes he changes staff so fast but he gets great people to work for him. as for some patients I have been in the office and heard patients be rude as well so if you don't like it don't go but as per me I loved taking my children to them and my family so keep it up dr. and staff your are doing your best

I miss the old staff. I notice familiar faces, but truth be told, they are the staff I wouldn't prefer. I miss the lab tech they had, she may have looked mean and rude, but can say she always made you feel comfortable. I followed Mrs. Hernandez, that is for sure. I've seen some of the other girls who use to work there, and thank heavens they left that place Dr. Gutierrez is a great and wonderful Dr., but they really do change staff like they change underwear's. Which has me thinking, if the same people are there......I tried looking for Mrs. Zepeda, my mother and grandmother loved her. Some of the MA's I miss as well. At the end of the day, he has a wonderful McAllen clinic, but the manager at the Alamo clinic must not be doing something right if she continues to change staff. So, if you decide you want to see or get seen by Dr. Gutierrez, choose the McAllen office.

Excelente impresion

The clinic was very clean! As soon as the office staff noticed I had a 2 year old, they immediately came out and changed the TV to cartoons. I was seen very prompt and the MA/Nurse was incredible with my little one. He even blew up a glove as a balloon just to make her happy and gave her a lollipop at the end even though she wasn't the patient! I saw Dr. Sylvia Iglesias and felt like although she seemed rushed, she gave good overall care and diagnosis. This is now our family practice and we will be back...hopefully not soon!

If you like being treated by some one other than the actual doc, this is the place for you.If you like rude cold robotic staff, come here.In general wanna be treated like a number as opposed to a actual human, this place is for you.If you like folks making decisions for you without your consent , this place is definetely for you.

If you ever have to choose an office for this doctor, don't go to the one in Alamo. They have some very rude people working there. One in-particular, a woman with blonde hair and freckles. She yells and speaks loudly in the office, mentioning your health conditions very loudly so everyone can hear. The doctor is very nice. Dr. Gutierrez is very nice. But he needs to maybe lay down the law on some of his staff.

The Doctor and his PA are very nice. However the problem that I have with him is his reception staff/office clerks. They are the rudest most uncaring people I have ever met. They don't have any courtesy in the way they speak to you and it seems almost that they feel you are wasting their time by even talking to them. He needs to fire the recpetion staff and get new ones. They always look stressed out and they look like they hate their job and first impressions unfortunately is based upon the way you are treated when you arrive.

Dr. Gutierrez is very patient. PA's are great too. My whole family is now seeing him.
