Dr. Marcos Thomas Doxanas, MD

I was having trouble seeing and I was referred to Dr. Doxanas for a ptosis repair. My insurance covered the procedure but I had to pay an additional $2k for the surgery to make sure my eyebrows and eyes were even after the ptosis repair. He raised my eyes at different levels and it is quite obvious. After 2 months he scheduled a revision and performed a procedure in the office to correct my left eyelid that was very droopy. After 2 weeks I went in to have the sutures removed and he acted as if it wasn’t his fault my eyes and eyebrows were uneven and removed the sutures and said he was happy with the result and said no follow up needed. I’m now left looking for another surgeon to correct this embarrassing botched ptosis repair. My left eye droops and the left eyebrow is raised, my right eyebrow droops and my right eyelid is wide open. He spends 2 minutes with you, and is quite detached and disinterested. I’m so disappointed.

I had upper and lower eye lid cosmetic surgery for droopy lids and puffy/ bags under eyes. This was in 2015. The results were not satisfactory due to still much puffiness under eyes and the left eye was worse. So had a a second lower lid surgery 2016 and the results were not good. My left eye has a distortion inthe corner shaped like a coma( which He said he could not do anything about and my under eyes are still very puffy and worse then before and it is 2018. So unhappy
