Marcus Stoddard, MD, FACC, FAHA

Dr. Marcus Stoddard is a cardiovascular disease specialist who earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed his residency and cardiovascular diseases fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital, where he also trained in internal medicine. With 44 years of experience in cardiology, Dr. Stoddard holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and has achieved Fellowship status in both the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American Heart Association (FAHA). He provides care in English for his patients.

Dr. Stoddard practices at UofL Physicians – Cardiology and UofL Health – Heart Hospital at Jewish, both located in Louisville, Kentucky, and maintains an affiliation with Robley Rex VA Medical Center. His clinical expertise focuses on heart valve conditions, including mitral valve regurgitation and tricuspid valve regurgitation. He performs essential cardiac diagnostic …procedures such as transthoracic echocardiograms and electrocardiograms (EKGs) to evaluate heart function and rhythm.
