Another reviewer stated that he doesn't seem that interested in them and what they have to say, and this is spot on. Reading back through the My Chart notes from my most recent visit verified that he doesn't understand my struggles or where I need help. Much of the information he recorded in my notes was flat-out wrong. Your choices in psychiatry are pretty limited at Melrose Center. Hopefully, reviews like this will help to change that.

I was assigned him when I started outpatient care at melrose. He doesn’t seem that interested in me or what I have to say. He cuts me off and many times starts asking questions as I’m walking into his office, before the door is even closed. He spends maybe 7-10 minutes with me maximum and I’m not even sure he knows my name or what I do for a living (have been a patient for 2 years now). If I wasn’t assigned to him and was able to choose, I would not have picked him. The only reason I still see him is because I need consistent medication. Maybe it’s because I’m lower acuity, but I’m clearly not a valued patient here.
