Dr. Marcy Lynn Nagpal, MD

Dr. Marcy Nagpal is truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, my husband and I immediately clicked with her, and that connection only deepened throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I went into labor with the intention of having a vaginal birth, and although we ultimately needed to pivot to an unplanned C-section, I felt completely safe, informed, and supported every step of the way. Dr. Nagpal guided me through the decision with clarity, calm, and deep respect for my experience. I never felt rushed, pressured, or dismissed. Knowing that it was her who would be performing my C-section brought me an immense sense of peace. I trusted her fully with my life and my baby’s life. Throughout my care, she never once made us feel like we were on a timer. I always came prepared with questions, and she answered every single one thoroughly and thoughtfully. Her knowledge is incredibly deep, yet she explains things in a way that is clear, grounded, and… human. She also has a wonderful sense of humor, which both my husband and I truly appreciated. She is warm, relatable, and genuinely herself. Most importantly, Dr. Nagpal made me feel safe, and that sense of safety is everything, especially during birth. She created an environment where my nervous system could stay calm, even when plans changed. It is truly an understatement to say how much we are going to miss seeing her as often as we did during pregnancy. We are endlessly grateful for her care.

I went to her to get the implant for your arm and all she did was talk and run around and gave me a prescription for pills. I said multiple times that I did not want to take pills for my birth control. She did not listen to anything I said and still wrote a prescription for a brand that I've never even heard of. I honestly dont want to go back if she's going to treat patients with that kind of disrespect.

First of all, this is the first and only negative review I have written in my life. I had several extremely negative and negligent experience with Dr. Marcy Rosen. I started missing periods in my mid 30’s, resulting in severe physical symptoms of (inappropriately early) menopause: hot flashes, brittle nails, bone pain, hair loss, severely dry skin, etc. After asking to have my hormone levels checked, I did not hear back. I called the office. A nurse called me back, stating that my estradiol and progesterone levels were “normal”. Given the severe physical symptoms I was having, I called the office back to ask for specific numbers. It turned out that my estradiol was within menopausal range. Dr. Rosen was surprised that she missed that. During my next appointment a couple of months later, she cut me off when I tried to voice my concerns, and tried to minimalize my severe hot flash experience by stating that it was hot in the room. I asked for my medical records from her, in which I… found that she had written an extremely negative note about me, stating that I had “pressured speech”, etc., when in fact she was the one who had improperly diagnosed me in a previous appointment. I am now under the care of a different OBGYN, who is very knowledgeable about hormones and truly cares about his patients. Never again will I see Dr. Rosen.

She is very kind, and has great bedside manner. And she doesn't hurt you
