Hi, my name is Peg Black. I am a provider for mental health. I obtained my master's degree in social work from the University of Kentucky (MSW). I'm also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. (LCSW). I started in the field when I was an undergraduate at Union college in Barbourville Kentucky. I obtained a double major in Sociology and Social Work. I graduated from undergraduate in 1971 receiving a BA. I worked in rural Kentucky in a couple of positions with The Department of Child Welfare. I obtained my master's degree ((MSW) from the University of Kentucky in 1986.I then obtained my LCSW in Kentucky 1990. It is sufficient to say that I've been in the field one way or another for almost 50 years. I have a history of working in the homes, working in psychiatric hospitals, working for corporate organizations as well as private practice. I have always followed my passion for being a therapist and never had a plan B. I enjoy what I do to bring people to become the …person they want to be. I like to help people figure out their passion and to follow their dreams. I feel privileged that people trust me with their life experiences and allow me to help them reach their own potential and goals.
