I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Margaret Chen and her team. I first discovered a small mass in my left breast about 1 cm in October 2024. After a biopsy I was diagnosed with a cellular fibroadenoma. At my six month follow up the mass had doubled in volume to about 3 cm and began to look suspicious. The first surgeon I saw recommended waiting another six months, but I did not feel comfortable with that plan at all. That is when I found Dr. Chen, and from the moment I met her I knew she was the right choice for me. She took the time to sit with me and explain everything clearly. She walked me through all the possibilities with so much patience. She reassured me that I was okay while still being honest that it could possibly be a phyllodes tumor. Her calm and thoughtful approach made me feel truly supported and informed. Since I have a strong family history of cancer she also ordered a DNA test to check for any genetically inherited cancer risks, which meant she was being… thorough and looking out for my long term health. One month later she performed my lumpectomy. She cleared the entire area very thoroughly and the procedure went smoothly. Dr. Chen also checked in on me both before and after the surgery which made me feel that I was more than just another case in her schedule. Her entire team was warm, professional, and incredibly kind. Luckily the final result showed that it was just a fibroadenoma. Although the scar was not my main concern I was amazed at how precise and careful her work was. It is almost impossible to tell that I had surgery at all. Having a surgeon who genuinely cares is crucial when you are facing cancer or even the possibility of it. Dr. Chen is skilled, compassionate, and deeply dedicated to her patients. I am incredibly grateful to have found her and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of breast surgery care.

I had breast surgery performed by Dr. Margaret Chen and the experience and outcome were excellent. She is a superb Doctor and surgeon. In April 2024, I was devastated when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I immediately contacted my physician at Optum, Dr. Ronald Cohen, who referred me to Dr. Chen. I met with Dr. Chen in May and immediately knew that this is the doctor in whose hands I can put my trust. She is vivacious, effervescent, candid, knowledgeable, highly professional and competent. She thoroughly reviewed my case and explained the most optimal treatment for me. She performed my surgery at Northwell Health in June 2024 and the outcome was excellent - just as she had explained to me - minimum scarring with little pain. The surgery after care she arranged for me was exceptional. Her PA - Charisse, her nurse - Angela and all of her administrative and support staff were always very professional, helpful and comforting. I am grateful to Dr. Chen and all of them for their warmth, care and compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Chen to anyone who can benefit from her skills as a breast surgeon.

I had surgery with Dr Chen in July and I am very happy with my results. Had my follow-up with her today, and she was very thorough with her examination and explaining everything to me. I had a great experience with her and my surgery minimal, scaring, and I feel great. I am very happy I decided to do the surgery with her. Dr. Margaret Chen is a gifted surgeon with an energetic, enthusiastic personality. I was diagnosed with a lypoma just under my right armpit, which was much larger than expected. Dr. Chen performed the surgery as an outpatient and that very afternoon I went for a walk in the park. Pain and discomfort was minimal. Dr. Chen has an extensive background and is attuned to the latestet surgical procedures. The staff at Lake Success where always available to answer any questions and concerns with the utmost professionalism. I would rate Dr. Chen an 11 !
