Facial pain is a very difficult condition, that has an unknown amount of causes. My disease turned out to be a rare illness that has no cure. But Dr. Dennis and staff has turned out to be some of the most compassionate, patient, knowledgeable care givers I have ever seen. Dr Dennis has always gone the extra mile to care for her patients.

I have suffered from TMD for over 8 years and went to Dr. Dennis because she specializes in the disorder. After seeing her for over the course of many months, I eventually became uncomfortable and left. She recommended an extremely expensive, daunting, and risky surgery. This surgery is performed by a dentist she trained under who works in Tampa. A doctor who I received a second opinion from compared the surgery to "cutting off your hand if you have a broken finger." I felt as though, whether intentional or not, Dr. Dennis used my pain and fear of my TMD to try to get me to make extremely irresponsible and pricy medical decision that would provide her with some kind of kickback. Her sister is the receptionist and I just did not trust either of them. If you decide to go to Dr. Dennis, be prepared for her to diagnose you with something that she deems can only be fixed by her, or the dentist she trained under. This solution will be expensive and invasive. Please, please consider… getting a second opinion.

This dentist suggested a lot of totally unnecessary work. I got a second opinion and I am SO GLAD. Don't let someone ruin your teeth - be wary!

Dr. Dennis provided me answers when no one else could. I have had years of severe, debilitating headaches and facial pain. I had been to many doctors in every field. I was given medications, but never told why I was having this issue and why it was getting worse. I never had doctor spend the amount of time with me as she did. Most doctors don't take the time to read the your health history, but she takes the time to read and asks additional questions. She is sincere, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. As in any field/business, you get what you pay for-the medical field is no different. I have been in offices where the doctor literally spends less than 10 min "diagnosing" me and no time is given for me to ask questions or to explain anything to me. This is certainly not the case with Dr. Dennis. Educating me seemed as important as diagnosing me. Her staff is great, they too will spend time explaining things to me and are so very supportive. This is an office I am glad I… chose to go to - this doctor changed my life

A Tremendous amount of money for a Dentist that is NOT a surgeon. She is knowledgeable on orofacial pain, however the cost is astronomical and not worth the end result. There are world renowned Surgeons at top hospitals that will review an MRI, X-rays and photos for a fraction of the cost, and they CAN perform the surgery. Don't waste your money.
