Dr. Margaret A Lessig, DDS

A 1988 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Margaret Lessig has been part of the Fleming Island community since 1991.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Lessig served in the United States Navy until 1994. She established her private dental practice, Fleming Island Family Dentistry, PA, in 1997. Her dental experience spans over 30 years beginning as a dental assistant while still in high school.
Dr. Lessig knows how to put her patients at ease and takes the time to build a trusting relationship with them. She has a great way of making "dental phobics" overcome their fear of going to the dentist.
Always striving to learn the latest techniques, philosophies, and dental practice management, Dr. Lessig takes pride in her continuing dental education. She studied under some of the leading names in dentistry today. Most notably, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and the Piper Education and Research …Center where Dr. Lessig has continued to promote her philosophy of exceptional patient care.
Dr. Lessig enjoys spending time with her husband Jon, sons Raymond and Jack. She is an avid runner, golfer, and enjoys fly fishing, boating, adventure and travel.
She is proud to be involved with the Wounded Warrior Project and BASCA, Inc.
