Dr. Margaret Gross Michelson, MD

I don’t think people understand just how problematic Dr. Michelson has been. She has many times, over 10 years made inappropriate comments and remarks during her practice that SHOULD NOT be told to a child. In addition, Dr. Michelson has never once helped give a referral, when this individual needed social work, possible physical therapy for recovery of seizures and other issues, and other related issues that had implications from epilepsy. I have had issues multiple times getting his medication refilled, despite her changing medication and saying it will be refilled. She will provide contradicting information and refuse to answer questions, be rude and condescending when people are asking on behalf of their loved ones. She DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT operate as though she cares about her patients. People need to understand that this is PLAYING WITH LIVES. Epilepsy and many other neurological conditions are not something to play with and it is up to the doctors team to provide that… support. Please do not have her serve your loved one unless you want you and your family to be treated with disrespect and left with unclear answers about serious matters. I’d advise not looking at the Endeavor health reviews and instead looking at some on this website, because this has been the reality of working with her.

She's super nice and has a great personality. She's the best neurologist for your kids

I think Dr.Michelson understands what she is doing, and she gives options to people to choose from,and she listens to people' s concerns,and she gives feedbacks to people when they have inquiries about some neurological topics,she educates people on how to better help the child meet his/her physical milestones. I am very satisfied from Dr. Michelson. She just needs to improve on not listening so much to some criminal doctors who are doing illigal actions and sexually assaulting kids and after that claiming that the kid might be autistic and he allowed to be subject to this sexual abuse or some criminal offenders to use the child and the child' s parents for their illigal actions in order to stay on safe side.She also needs to double check when north shore front desk people cancel people' s appointments instead of making conclusions that people canceled their appointment.She is also trying to make people comfortable with her.

I was apprehensive about visit with Dr. Michelson based on reviews I read. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. She was very kind to us and our son. She spent a great deal of time explaining the various possible conditions and treatments. She spent time talking to our son to reassure him and to insure he was comfortable with our discussions and what the next course of treatment would be.

She's a medication slinger.

Fantastic visit with Dr. Michelson today for my daughter's migraines. Trying the imitrex pen! Dr. Michelson is always open to our choices and spent a lot of time educating us on options. Most supportive Neurologist we have had--spent over 30 minutes with us so we were comfortable with our decisions to treat our daughter!

Although NorthShore Hopital and their staff are usually very professional and nice, Dr. Michelson leaves for something to be desired. She has an awful bedside manner as she is very rude and short. Any type of neurological inquiry is important and for her to be so dismissive and unhelpful is completely unnaceptable. I'm hoping to never bump into her ever again.

She was rushing over my visit, telling me that she has another patient, although I had a bunch of questions. I was very worry about my son, who is 2, and I explained to her the symptoms my son has, but she told me that it is just my imagination my sons headaches. Very rude and impolite. She shouldnt be a pediatrician.

Dr Michelson seemed dismissive before inquiring. Jokes and patronizing comments were made before gathering information. She read our medical history form out loud, asking about family members with diagnosis such as depression and Bipolar Disorder with my child sitting next to me. It was an education for all of us, to say the least.

I was very disappointed that this doctor treated my child as a number rather than a human. She was not very compassionate with him. She had very poor bedside manner. She was not interested in spending time with my child or me to understand what was going on. I will never return to her for care because we were just a check for her.
