Dr. Margaret Elizabeth Mike, MD

Dr Mike is very knowledgeable. She’s patient and spends a good amount of time with me each visit. She has gone out of her way to get insurance to cover medications she deems necessary. She is one of the best doctors I’ve had.

I've been seeing Dr. Mike for over five years. I tried to schedule my annual appointment she is gone with no forward contact information. Not very professional.

Appointment was started late, but once we got going, Dr Mike asked lots of questions to try to diagnose sleep issues. Was very thorough in getting information regarding sleep habits.

I've been seeing Dr. Mike for over 2 years now and I can't say enough great things about her! She is understanding, thorough, and always goes the extra mile to make sure you find the best treatment. It's obvious that she loves her job and patients. Her office staff is always nice too!

I’ve been seeing her for almost 8 years (twice per year) and my insurance covered all costs except for my co-pay which I paid EVERY TIME I saw her and she just sent me a letter dropping me as a patient (with no explanation) and is closing one of her other offices in another city. She HAS NOT been of any value for me except write my prescriptions, which a NP or GP could have done. GOOD LUCK TALKING TO ANYONE. ALL THEY USE IS AN ANSWERING MACHINE and they’re the worst at returning phone calls.

I want to thank Dr. Mike for over 20 years of treatment. Her care, concern and protocol are the highest of all doctors I have seen. The fact that I have maintained a patient for over 20 years, speaks of her greatness. I recommend her to everyone I hear suffering from sleep issues!!!

Dr. Mike is so knowledgable, always smiling like she is happy to see you, concerned. I love seeing her as my sleep physician because I know she has my best health first. Thank you Dr. Mike my quality of life is better because of you.

I did not realize I had a sleep problem...I thought it was normal to fall asleep throughout the day; after all, my parents were always falling asleep in their chairs, so that was normal to me. It would get embarassing when I was in meetings to not be able to stay awake but I did not know anything to do to help. When my PCP put me on Cymbalta, my sleepiness worsened considerably. I would fall asleep while typing or doing paperwork and wake up with the same letter going across my typed page or a line of ink working it's way up a page on which I had been working. When I found Dr. Mike it was almost a miracle. She ordered a sleep study and advised me to talk to my PCP about coming off the Cymbalta since that can interfer with REM sleep. I also found out I had many leg movements in my sleep which kept waking me up enough that I would not go into REM sleep. The medicine she gave me for the leg movements, and when I started using the CPAP machine, I could not believe the difference in… how I felt. I am so grateful to her and her expertise, and caring enough to spend enough time with me to listen and explain (which is almost non existent anymore). It has even helped my Diabetes and blood pressure. All I can say is, "Thanks Dr. Mike"

There are a lot of doctors with large egos, but Dr. Mike can proudly stand at the top of that group. Rooms throughout her office are filled with posters of herself, touting her as one of the top doctors in her field. I believe her ego gets in the way of her doing what is best for the patient.Her diagnosis and treatment for my condition produced no improvement. She then refused to refer me to another doctor. A total waste of time and money.
