Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I have always wanted to have a career in healthcare since I can remember. I have practiced as a nurse's aide, practical nurse, and registered nurse for 13 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. As I have progressed in my education it has allowed me to continue to provide patient care at an advanced level through medicine. Urology has been an interesting specialty to me over the years, and peaked my interest during nurse practitioner school where I completed a rotation in urology.What I want my patients to know about me:My patients can expect that I will work with them to provide personalized care. I want my patients to engage with me in shared decision-making. I have lived in South Central PA for most of my life, and look forward to continue to serve this community.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I like to get outdoors as much as possible. I have spent most of my time working and in school over the past few years, but I used to …enjoy coaching middle school track and field. I like to travel as well as spend time with my family & friends.
