Dr. Margaret D Neiheisel, MD

Dr Neiheisel is an exceptional very knowledgeable caring pedatric physican. My kids have been seeing her for several years. She has always given us great care. We Love Dr Neiheisel.

She is kind, gentle, and understanding. The fact that she does not have an overall 5 star rating baffles me.

The wait time is ridiculously long. We had a 3PM appointment and arrived at 2:35PM. We were not called to the back until 3:30PM. We answered the nurse's questions and I told her what my concerns were for both children. The nurse wrote everything down and then told us the doctor would be in shortly. When Dr.Neiheisel came in she right away lectured about diet, then examined my kids and was ready to leave. I had to stop her and remind her of my lists of concerns with each kid. I also had to remind her that they needed refills for inhalers and such. It was like she never bothered to read what I had told the nurse. We are definitely looking for another doctor.

Condescending and rude. When my child got involved in sports and began eating well the "Doctor" began by suggesting that she is bulimic! I KNOW this is not true and my daughter denied it so the "Doctor" then suggested that she might have anorexia. As if it is not bad enough that these were her first conclusion, she explained it as if we had no basic understanding of the disease saying, "sometimes girls get sad and think they are fat and make themselves throw up". Yet, later in the year when my daughter was going through tremendous stress, Dr. Neiheisel did not even bat an eye! There was no further questioning, simply the advice to "do yoga on the weekends". Needless to say, I got my daughter a therapist. Don't expect her to listen to or respect you or your children and if you think you are paying to get your child diagnosed, think again. You are paying to have this condescending woman nod blankly, prescribe something useless, NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD'S WELL-BEING INTO ACCOUNT, and be out… the door in 5 minutes flat after a 2 hour wait. If you love your child, find a real doctor.

Office sucks! We will be changing Dr's. Unacceptable to have a 4pm apt, and not get seen until 530pm, to only then have Dr. Neiheisel blame it on her nurse and not accept responsibility OR apologize for wasting our time. I wouldn't complain if it was the first time, but its the 3RD time in 2 months.

Dr. Neiheisel has been our pediatrician for over 15 years. She has always been compassionate, supportive and she makes my children feel at ease when they have to visit. My daughter was born with cancer, and Dr. Neiheisel was there for her every step of the way! She worked with the Oncologist to provide the best care!!!!! We would highly recommend her; you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Neiheisel is a wonderful pediatrician. She has always gone above and beyond to help my child. She is always willing to answer questions about any concerns I have and explains throughly all diagnosis and medications prescribed.

Dr. Neiheisel is an excellent doctor. She is fast and courteous to her patients. My daughter receives special care at home and Dr. Neiheisel is wonderful at signing her documents for nursing, therapy, etc. The nursing agency loves her. I would definitely recommend this doctor to other families with special needs.

Always treats my children with kindness and patience. Always willing to answer questions. Always accurate in her diagnosis. I have never had a problem with this doctor.

This pediatrician is very unprofessional and rude. She does not have your child's best interest at heart. I was cut off mid sentence and berated by her for expressing concern over my child's emotional well being. Welcome to the club, she misdiagnosed my child as well and tried to cover it up by false documentation. Unfortunately, she is interested in lining her pockets by ordering unnecessary tests and prescribing medication for unfounded diagnosis's. She treats concerned parents like idiots.
