Dr. Margaret Mary Portwood, MD

Waited in pain for 5 weeks for a repeat epidural after calling almost daily. Been waiting for handicap park permit but never forwarded completed app and payment. These people shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicin.

Great bed side manner and loving dr.

Dr. Portwood never bothers to follow up and forward referrals for treatment. After being in chronic pain calling many times over 20 days never bothers to sign and send referral. I overnighted application with payment for parking placard still hasn’t bothered to sign and forward. Nothing but excuses. Don’t go to this Dr. you will regret it.

I've been with Dr Portwood for years and have never had a desire to leave her care. She actually listens to you and remembers who you are from visit to visit.

If you want anything done quickly this not the doctor for you. Too busy to return phone calls and doesn't care about how much pain you are in. Office staff are rude and disrespectful.

Dr. Portwood is a wonderful caring doctor, great bedside manner. Explained everything clearly. I almost gave up trying to see her since it took five weeks after my referral before I got an appointment and that was after many phone calls. There are some downsides of this great doctor, one is that everything moves at a snails pace. Then there is the office staff, they seems to have no clue and they will not return phone calls. It took them a month after my appointment to send the insurance company the information for treatment and then missed most of it, so more waiting.

I have had Dr.Portwood for 10 yrs as my W/C doctor. I trust no Doctor more then Dr.Portwood. She is the most understanding, caring Doctor on this earth. I commute hundreds of miles to see her each time, as I relocated.

after a much needed referral i finally got to to see DR,portwoood after suffering for many years,being hospitalized with several on the job injuries she accepted my case,she is quit full to new clients so i was truly blessed to be accepted to be under her care,i can say i love DR,portwood for addressing all medical needs with caring demeanor, she truly is a professional in her field of medicine,she is vey disaplined and to the point,she is truly an asset to the medical community.thx you
