Dr. Margaret Trawick, PA-C

Margaret "Megan" Trawick is a board certified physician assistant who practices general and addiction psychiatry in Winston Salem, North Carolina at Synergy Psych under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Lord. She provides recovery friendly medication options as well as medication assisted treatment to include Vivitrol and Sublocade. Megan provides in person and telehealth mental health services for adult patients .Megan graduated from Wake Forest University in 2011 with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Physician Assistant Program in 2015. She previously worked in psychiatry at an inpatient addiction treatment facility in Alabama prior to moving back to North Carolina, where she grew up. She brings to Synergy a wealth of knowledge and experience treating anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders to include major depressive disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and bipolar disorder, insomnia, obsessive compulsive …disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders.At Synergy Psych, we have all worked as part of a team in both residential, outpatient and aftercare settings. We know how valuable different perspectives can be, so we believe that the multi-disciplinary team approach works best. That means we collaborate with those who know you well and who are already a part of your team. With patient consent, we exchange information regularly for maximum insights, perspective, observations of progress to maximize positive outcomes. We offer In-Person and Telehealth appointments.
