Dr. Margaret Clair Westin, MD

Failed to treat disease and common ailments. Failed to listen over five years to symptoms at each visit. Should not be practicing. Confused many times over medication ,etc

I saw Dr. Westin for more than 20 years. She is a good doctor and I like her a lot. However, during that time, the waits got increasingly longer and it became more and more difficult to get lab results, accurate and prompt prescription refills, call-backs, appointments, and responses in general. Also, you can hear personal conversations through the walls, and nurses and sometimes Dr. Westin discuss your issues in the open hallway. I finally switched to another doctor and haven't been able to get Dr. Westin's office to transfer my records. I'm wondering if perhaps the practice takes on more patients that they have the manpower to handle.

Although I always have to wait for Dr. Westin for about 30 to 45 minutes, I am always pleased with the care and concern that she gives me. I feel she is very professional and I am very comfortable with having her for my primary doctor.

Dr. Westin is an exceptional doctor with excellent diagnostic abililites. She is persistant in resolving maladies, often when others have failed. If you have to wait to see her, it is because she takes whatever time is needed with her patients.

Dr. Westin is an excellent physician - intelligent, professional and resourceful. She has a great bedside manner - easy to talk to and quick to assess accurately asking questions as needed to zero in on the issue(s) at hand. Office is well run, staff are supportive and helpful. I have recommended her and this office of physicians to numerous people who have been very satisified with the group. If my M.D. is not available I don't hesitate to see anyone else in the group.

Very thorough. Wants to get to the real underlying problems in lieu of just treating surface issues. Always wants a follow-up appointment to ensure correct diagnosis.

Overall, she is a good doctor. She does however run late every time I've been to her and does not spend a lot of time with you.

Dr. Westin has seemed to me to be very caring and an excellent physician. She is outstanding in my humble opinion.
