Dr. Margaret Anne Whelan, MD

Dr. Margaret A. Whelan is a Board Certified physician in radiology whose specialty is Neuroradiology. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the St. John’s University. She went on to get her Medical Degree at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and was elected to AOA. Dr. Whelan completed her radiology residency at Columbia –Presbyterian Medical Center and neuroradiology fellowship at the Neurological Institute of Columbia –Presbyterian Medical Center. She is presently a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology of Radiology at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she gives regular teaching conferences. She has authored many papers and book chapters. She is currently on the medical staff of Southampton Hospital.
