Dr. Margaret Elizabeth Wierman, MD

Do not go to this doctor! She is horrible and made up untrue facts about my condition to train a resident on “alternative diagnosis”. She said that I have adrenal nodules on both sides, and based her treatment plan on the untrue facts. Months later confirmed that this was not true! Negligent doctor and should not be practicing!!

Absolutely terrible. I booked a new patient appointment with Dr. Wierman several months in advance and then her office cancelled the appointment two days before with a voicemail, saying that the appointment was deemed "not needed". This is despite my having a referral from my primary care doctor to see an endocrinologist and an extensive medical history on file with UCHealth establishing exactly why it is needed. It's clear Dr. Wierman really doesn't care at all about patient care. 0/5 stars

She reviews records, listens to and asks questions, very thorough. Responds to emails through portal. She cares and is concerned and helps you figure out options. I highly recommend her.

Very bad. Take doctor designation away and give her a shovel.

I went to see Dr. Wierman because she was recommended by many people and was said to be one of the best in the field in Colorado. She is extremely condescending, arrogant and inconsiderate. Because of traffic, I was about 10 minutes late. I called her office and they said it would be fine. The first thing she said when she came in the room was "We never thought you would get here!" She then told me that for "future reference" it would be better not to be late. She was very rough and not very thorough when she examined me. I walked out of her office almost in tears. She didn't treat me like a human being. She treated me as if I had 2 IQ points. She basically made fun of me and honestly, she scared me. I think she definitely could use some lessons in bedside manner and compassion.

Please note that most reviews given for Ms. Wierman give her the higher rating due to staff and the hospital NOT her! She was in no way interested in anything I had to say. I even completed her documentation and she gave it back to me in her paperwork she was writing notes on! How can you know a person's family history or the patients without this information? Her exam consisted of touching my neck and hearing my heart and then providing a report that did not touch base on all the critical issues I attempted to bring to her attention. She, as the other people state, only belittled me and made me feel more depressed than I had in quite some time. She came highly recommended and I am not sure as to why as I do not do well with doctors who have no desire to listen to their patients or attempt to care, nor do I imagine most patients at this point feel. It was so obvious I was an inconvenience and that every other doctor I have seen was insane and she was the expert, I brought… numerous records from many years ago that she refused to copy or review. Unbelievable!

This doctor would not listen to me at all; or my family members. She fails to see the patient as a person. She makes assumptions based of age and other factors that have nothing to do with my diagnosis. Dr. Wierman does not listen; she goes down a simple list of irrelevant questions. She spent very little time examining me; more time was spent on belittling me. Her assumptions left me feeling severely depressed after leaving the office. I will not be going back to her for any advice or diagnosis.

Un-believably rude. It's unfortunate that she has such a great opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of some struggling people. Instead her demeanor says everyone is inconveniencing her. If shes that miserable in her profession, its due to the fact that what shes reaping what she puts out there. We will be following up w/anyone else but her.
