Dr. Margarita Angela Abrams, MD

Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Abrams for any women's health care you need. She listens, she understands and her staff are all relatable and treat you like you are intelligent and a partner in your own care. She delivered all my children and has become a dear friend over the years. If I could have her as my primary care physician I would! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr. Abrams is attentive, knowledgeable and caring. He listened to me carefully, took the time to talk to me about options and addressed all my issues. She has a great attitude too, i loved her!

Dr. Abrams unfortunately was one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. My wife had severe complications that Dr. Abrams should have detected if she had run the proper tests. My wife and child almost died as a result of Dr. Abram's negligence. Corrective care cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Her personal skills were also poor. For instance, during one of our meetings, my wife was having severe symptoms. Dr. Abrams was eating in front of us, gave a few perfunctory suggestions about diet and made no further investigations. In hindsight Dr. Abrams did not seem to have the skills or temperament to be a competent physician. I highly recommend for your own safety to avoid working with her.

During an appointment I found out that I was having a miscarriage. After thinking it over, I decided to schedule a D&C procedure. Multiple phone calls over the course of several days and I could not get it scheduled. I was told that the "person who schedules those" was "out" with no other explanation. This is not what someone in that situation should experience at all. Is there really not a back-up??? The staff at this office was unbelievably rude from my first appointment to the last.

Dr. Abrams is matter of fact, and gets right down to business...she doesn't waste your time, but takes the time you need to deal with your issues and answer your questions. She has a great sense of humor as well.
