Dr. Margarita Maria Lassaletta, MD

No office staff, files thrown everywhere, on the floor, on desks, even in exam rooms. She makes you wait in the waiting room even though there is noone else around. She will not put refills on scrips just so you have to come back month after month. She does nothing but type while you sit for hours, she takes vitals then sends you on your way. She stressed me out so bad, she made me get all this blood work and ultrasound just to bill my insurance when nothing needed done. I tell everyone to stay away!

After many visits with Dr. Lassaletta, I can honestly say I have never waited any longer than I would consider normal. Further, there are many excellent children's books in the waiting room--as a grandmother of long standing, I rate many of those books as being A+ for childrens' (and adults') reading enjoyment. Dr. Lassaletta is consistently engaged with me throughout each visit, pays close attention to all aspects of the health spectrum, and is dealing successfully with my blood pressure issues. I can honestly rate her highly and recommend her as a very good choice for a personal physician.

Wait times can be really long and the office isn't very organized. However, she is an extremely thorough doctor and is very knowledgeable about women's health and real solutions to fertility problems.

I was made to wait 1.5 hours though NOONE else was in the office. My appointment took a total of 3 hours though no one else was in the office. My cycle shut down after a time of stress. She INCORRECTLY diagnosed my with PCOS and sent me for a slew of tests that she said would be expensive. I ignored her because I knew why my period stopped. It came back by itself the next month.

If you want a doc who will actually take time to explore your medical AND OB/GYN concerns that really gets female infertility, hormonal imbalance, etc.

Excellent bedside manner. I chose her, even though so many had commented on wait times. I work full-time, so my time is important to me; but so is having a doctor who listens and cares. She is definitely worth the wait. Very knowledgeable about a wide range of health issues, which is what you want in a f.p. Highly recommend.

She's a very friendly, personable doctor who is familiar with Natural Family Planning. That's great, in my mind! Unfortunately, the wait times at the office led me to find a different doctor for my family physician and prenatal care. I usually take my children with me for a prenatal appointment, especially if there's a chance of hearing the baby's heartbeat. I wasn't prepared for the long wait time. A wait of 1.5-3 hours in the waiting room and examining room was the norm, rather than the exception, for my visits. Further, Dr. Lassaletta was having trouble adjusting the use of a computer, so often my file was mixed up or necessary papers and information were missing, or the same questions were asked twice (or more) during the same visit (the routine questions: Do you smoke? Are you taking any medication? Do you live in a house older than 1965? etc.) Also, as a caution if you're bringing kids to the office the tongue depressors are left loose on the bottom of an open shelf, and papers… are scattered everywhere. It was 3 hours of telling the squirmy ones: "No, don't touch that!" I found a different doctor after 3 visits.

I've been seeing Dr. Lassaletta for awhile. Good things: She spends a lot of time with her patients and I've never felt rushed out the door. She's been able to answer all of my off the wall questions and seems to know a lot about a variety of health options. She's very easy going and friendly. She's very smart and well read. She's up-to-date on all the medical journals and recent studies.Bad things: The wait times are horrible. I never know if I'm going to wait 15 minutes or an hour to be seen. I've waited 2 hours before!! I think this is because she gives patients as much time as they need. One time she spent over an hour with me answering all my questions. This is probably why she is late.
