Dr. Margarita Sophia Lolis, MD

There are so many things I could say about this practitioner. Not only did she sell us on expensive acne laser treatment for our young daughter, she also mislead us into thinking the procedure was painless. Over the course of the treatment that my daughter received, it appeared that Dr. Lolis was a different person each visit. One visit engaging, another like a cold fish. During one of the treatments, while my child was clearly in pain, she literally didi not say a word. After three months of extremely uncomfortable, non-covered treatments totaling $3000, my daughter is right back where she started. The promising laser treatments, backed by a study that they stated was run out of her office, were a no-go. Several attempts to speak to her in the months following the procedure went unanswered. Even after stating that I would make a follow-up if it were better to discuss things in the office, Dr. Lolis did not respond. Save yourself/child the frustration, heartache and financial… loss and go somewhere else where the practitioner cares.

Dr. Lolis is an excellent Dermatologist. She is enthusiastic, smart, and well read. She not only has excellent diagnostic skills but also excellent procedural skills. She has taken care of several family members and we have all been very happy with the results. She is the BEST DERMATOLOGIST!

Let me start of to say I don't really write reviews, but Dr. Lolis made me so happy that I had too! I've been struggling with acne all my life and seen dermatologists all my life, and for past five-six years my head scalp was drying up really really bad, I had white spots all over, it was embarrassing and uncomfortable. I've seen many top dermatologists in NY/NJ area and nothing!! most expansive medicine, shampoos, creams etc.. nothing. Finally six month ago someone suggested for me to go see Dr Lolis, honestly I lost hope, but as soon as I told her my problems, she was able to Identify, diagnose and proscribe the right medication and treatment and it actually worked!!!!! you do not understand, for the first time in long time, my face and head feels ok! so for that I'm forever grateful.
