Dr. Margarita Mikhaylova

Dr. Margarita Mikhaylova is a board-certified neurologist with specialized expertise in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. She also practices headache medicine and provides therapeutic Botox® treatments for neurological indications, including chronic migraine, cervical dystonia, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and hyperhidrosis.

Dr. Mikhaylova holds board certification in Neurology and Epilepsy from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Certified Practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Her formal training includes a medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT-COM), a neurology residency at Northwell Health’s North Shore–LIJ program where she served as Chief Resident, and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG/Epilepsy) at North Shore Hospital. This combination of advanced clinical training and leadership experience informs her diagnostic and therapeutic approach across a range of complex neurological …disorders.

Dr. Mikhaylova is actively involved in clinical research and industry-sponsored trials spanning Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, migraine and other headache disorders, vestibular and pediatric migraine, as well as movement disorders and epilepsy.
