Dr. Margery Hope Mark, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mark for more than 20 years and feel lucky to have had her as my doctor. I trusted her because she trusted me and listened to my input in plotting a course of treatment for my PD. She is unquestionably a high-energy individual who calls them as she sees them. This might be misconstrued as brusque or uncaring, but I found her to be forthright, direct, attentive to my needs and keenly concerned with my well-being. I'll take that any day.

First time meeting Dr. Mark-she took time, I had a complete exam and diagnosis and was very warm, friendly and SMART!!

My 30 yr old daughter suffered a cardiac arrest and has some amount of brain trauma from oxygen deprivation. We waited 7 full days to meet and talk to Dr. Mark regarding her condition. When we finally did meet her she didn't have the professional courtesy to introduce herself and proceeded to say a series of rude and uncompassionate things that were the worst bedside manner I have ever been subjected to in 66 years. This was all done in front of a large pack of "underling" and aspiring young doctors and students. She should be ashamed of her behavior and work on choosing her words more carefully. She scarred our hearts. To top it off she obviously didn't even know the cardiac prognosis and started to turn the issue into everything about the heart.

Dr Mark is outstanding in her knowledgeof movement disorders and her expertise in the injection of botox. Unfortunately, she is not a warm personality at all, which is an important attribute when you are relying on a doctor to alleviate your suffering.

She is compassionate and excellent. I can talk to her whenever I need to.
