I really cannot add to what the 71 year old veteran, who wrote the other review on this individual, had to say about Dr. Lockyer... He hit the nail on the head and the tenor of the encounter I had with her mimicked his experience although my medical condition was different... She had the same misguided focus and interrogating nature... Obviously needs to be in a different line of work and I have some expertise in that assertion being that I do human resources for a living... I encourage the management to either re-evaluate her position or have her receive more training... People who come to the emergency do not need to have the physicians personality quirks inflicted upon them... I left because of how she acted and by that risked my own well being but I felt more at risk staying than going... I must say, however, that the rest of the staff was courteous and professional.

I am a 71 year old veteran of the Vietnam War ( total and permanently disabled ). I have been diagnosed with PTSD, chronic depression, and chronic pain. Until recently my conditions have been made manageable by medication, but for about 5 years I have been able to cope only with solitude and medication. My heart went into AFIB about a month ago, and while waiting for my conversion appointment May 1st, for some unknown reason my legs quit working. The pain was so severe I could not walk. I had to go to the local hospital in Mountain View for a MRI, because of my PTSD and claustrophobia I was not able to complete the test. I was put in a room to see Dr. Lockyer. I have never been treated so rudely and disrespectful. I felt I was being interrogated on a witness stand rather than treated by a caring Doctor. She spent 75 percent of my time accusing me of opiate abuse and asking questions about my pain management rather than questions about my heart and the pain in my legs. I was furious !… She should change jobs and go to work for the DEA, because she is definitely not a Doctor.
