Dr. Margot Noelle Gar Abundis, MD

This Dr. Is quick to blow you off. I'm 17 weeks and having bleeding she refused to do an ultrasound until 20-25 weeks even though she has not given me 1 ultrasound yet. All she did was listen to the heart beat and asked does that ease my mind. I don't know how she even knows my correct gestational period without an ultrasound.

Day two -- informed I would have to wait at least 48 hours to receive advice as to recommendation/suggestion as to remedy adverse affects of medication. Just wait it out until SHE is ready. Had to stop medication and suffer until Abundis has time. On phone recording one is advised one can receive immediate help if an issue???? It appears my issue does not necessitate immediate help. BUT stop the medication AND WAIT???

Disaster. My experience would take too much time and space so just keep way from her. Look at the other reviews

I saw her a couple times, the last time was when they mixed up my labs with someone else's and told me I had something that I did not have. I pointed out this error and proved the error to them, they would have not even noticed,I had heard employees talking in the office, something to the idea of Dr. Abundis doesn't care about you unless you are pregnant and that sums up how I felt being a patient of hers.

I've seen Dr. Abundis multiple time, and every time I've left there i'm in tears and confused about anything and everything that she talks about. She is always in a rush to blow you off and to see her next patient. I would NOT recommend seeing this physician if you don't like being just a another concerned woman looking for answers. Very sad to see a Dr. not give two cares about there patients......

Very rude and quick to judge before even reviewing your chart. I felt like i was just another pay check for her to cash. She never calls back for test results, you literally have to call multiple times for her to respond. Blows off anything and everything you have to say at your appointments. I don't think i have ever left there feeling good about myself, I would not recommend her as your Dr. . Please save your self the time and find another obgyn to see. She could care less about what you have to say. Very sad to see a Dr. with absolutely no compassion for her patients.

A very intelligent and compassionate practitioner who gets the job done.

I had been seeing Dr. Abundis for 5 years. As an established patient, I would think there would be some type of patient/doctor relationship, but there is none. Everytime I went , I truly don't believe she remembered me.In fact, the only reason I continued on with her was I was able to have my mammogram done in the office on the same day. As I'm getting older I'm expriencing hormonal issues & truly feel she's not too interested in my well being as a whole. From my very first visit with her until the last, I found her to be much to quick with my appointments.I felt I was part of a production line. I realize the office is quite busy, however we as patients, are paying for a personalized service and I don't think she fits my needs. I have found another doctor & Wow, what a difference. I feel like I matter.

First of all, the staff at this office has always been very rude. Every time I go, I have to wait at least 1.5 hours in the waiting room before I get inside. I have been going to this office for 7 years. I was diagnosed with pcos and had been put on birth control in 10th grade. I recently had my first papsmear. My impression is that she did not read my chart to realize that it was my first one. She did not make me comfortable, she rushed the exam, it was extremely painful, and she had inappropriate conversation with me during the exam about her neighbor that I go to school with. I then briefly passed out at the checkout desk probably due to my high stress from the exam. When she came back into the room she brushed it off and joked that I probably passed out because we were talking about her neighbor that was "a hottie". I was crying so that was definitely not the appropriate response from a doctor. The situation was so frustrating for me, and I will not be going back. In addition to… this awful experience, every appointment that I went in to get my Bc prescription renewed, and I would say I wasn't sexually active, her reply EVERY TIME, would be "that's a good girl". So unprofessional and judgy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this office.

Dr. Abundis delivered my daughter a few years ago and she was the absolute best! Her level of professionalism left me wanting to leave a review of how great I think she is. She was always there for appointments and when it came time to deliver, she was right there. Even with a few complications, she made me feel totally comfortable with her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great caring, kind, and professional doctor.
