Dr. Mari A Fahrner, MD

She removed my gallbladder five years ago, and it was a nightmare of an experience. It took me years to recover from the trauma of my "simple" surgery. She ripped a muscle when doing my laparoscopic surgery but refused admit that was what was ailing me, so after countless, expensive tests, I was deemed fine and sent home from a three-day hospital stay. I was not fine. I could not get up and down without excruciating pain and couldn't sleep for weeks. It took several months for that pain to subside enough that it didn't occupy my every thought. I still have remnants of the pain if I overwork my abs. Through the whole experience she was cold and uncaring. I could not believe that a doctor would basically say, "I did my 'job;' you're on your own." You did a crappy job, and you should have fixed it.

I always find Dr. Fahrner to be kind, caring, and professional. She has the magic touch for finding lumps where they should not be.

Dr. Fahrner did surgery on me about 12 years ago. I went back because I was having some problems; I just wanted to ask some questions. After waiting an hour and 10 minutes to see her she came in and said you don't have a hernia (after brief two minute check up). When I tried to ask questions about the hernia repair she did she continually said, "I don'tk no,w I can't tell you, I'm not sure" basically wouldn't answer any of my questions Spent a total of 10 minutes and walked out. Very, very disappointed in her .

I met her in the ER of the hospital when I learned my Gall Bladder had to be removed. She was thorough and straight forward and I felt completely confident in her abilities
