Dr. Maria Cristina Abbattista, MD

I have been a patient for a number of years and Dr. Abbattista is extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Abbatista appears rushed and slightly annoyed when I ask questions. I did not feel warmth or understanding and I got scolded about doing my related exams and checks more regularly. Overall she seemed to be trying to get me out of the office as soon as possible to keep on schedule so I felt rushed.

I have used this practice since 2012. They are convenient enough. I saw all of the doctors during my pregnancy and Dr. Abattista delivered by baby. I had several emergencies during my delivery and needed a c-section. While I think she did a good job medically, she was very rude to my family. Her bedside manner could use some improvement.

great experience all Around from scheduling appointment, parking, short wait time and pleasant experience with Dr. Abbattista. She was very nice and concerned with my complaints, ordered followup tests and personally called with results. Will definitely be back and have referred friends as well.

I started seeing doctor abbatista for prenatal care and so far she is very nice but she does not ask a lot of questions that i think should be asked. I have seen two other doctors at the same office and i prefer doctor Meyers. She does not seem like she is in a rush and takes the time out to ask how are you feeling,any symptoms ect..

I was very pleased to meet Dr Abbattista recently when I came in for a problem visit. The office staff was able to accomodate me for an emergency visit with her although she is not my usual doctor in the practice. She was able to diagnose and treat my problem but what impressed me was how kind and sympathetic she was when I told her how stressed I was with work, kids, etc but most importantly on the recent passing of my mother. She really listened and even went as far as to get me involved with a bereavement support group that has made all the difference

She is an excellent doctor, but her back office support leaves much to be desired and are very disorganized. Appointments are only available months in advance and there is zero follow up. I had numerous tests done and had to call weeks later and follow up myself. Although I really think she is a great doctor, the frustration with her office and the entire west med group is exceptionally frustrating.
