Dr. Abraham is an outstanding cardiac physician.

This practitioner does not care about your health. There were findings on my echocardiogram yet she reported the exam to me as normal. Do not expect care, concern, or attention. Do expect rudeness, arrogance, ablism, and total disinterest in follow up. Do not believe the fake reviews on the UCSF website. You will notice there is no place for you to leave a review. They only publish what they want you to see. Please take care and find yourself another cardiologist if you actually want someone to help you. This "doctor" should retire or find another profession that does not include people or animals.

I saw Dr. Maria Abraham the second time I visited Johns Hopkins for HCM examination by the highly regarded HCM specialist Dr. Theodore Abraham. These visits are set up for patients so that there is a morning session with an echocardiogram, a stress test, followed by another echocardiogram. At my first visit, I also had a cardiac MRI. In the afternoon, there is a consult to discuss test results and any actions required. My first visit, Theodore Abraham did the afternoon consult for me. The second visit, I was scheduled to see Maria Abraham. She had no patients before me, but kept me waiting, alone, for 1 1/2 hours. When she finally emerged from her office, she lectured me with no empathy at a speed of speech that allowed barely time to understand her, and she allowed barely any questions. I was quite angry, and still am. I complained to Dr. Theodore Abraham some days later, and Dr. Maria Abraham denied keeping me waiting. She is a liar and should not be allowed to interact with… patients. Additionally, when I received my record of the visit, her summary of my personal history was inaccurate.
