Beware of the rudest staff ever! Dr seems to care but needs to start over with staffing. So sad to represent healthcare with such poor attitudes for people. Tuck!

Good grief! How hard is it to get good front office staff? Yet, I am always treated like an inconvenience when I call (every 3 months) and one of the staff even laughed when I suggested she look at my records for information. Second person could not stop laughing either. TOTALLY unprofessional. I have graduate education so it is not like I am some dumb redneck. First visit I too fell foul of the dual window issue mentioned below. No labels to tell you which doctor used which window and when I went to the wrong one all the miserable specimen did was point to the other window. As if I'm psychic.... No greeting, no sorry you need the other window.Ingrid, the PA was superb - very professional and knew all the answers. Dr Atienza is great too and appears to be very caring. Like her a lot.Please perservere with the awful front office - it is worth it when you ge tto the back. Finally. the woman who writes prescriptions etc was really nice too.

Very seldom get to actually see the doctor. Most of the time you wait along time to see a physicians assistant or nurse practioner. I may see the doctor one time out of six visits. She never steps in to speak to you or ask if you have any questions like most do after you see the assistant. When you get ready to leave you can see her standing out in the hall petting her dog that stays in the office. Makes you feel kind of bad that she has time for the dog but not her paying patients.

DR. ATIENZA IS THE GREATEST IN MY BOOK. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT A VERY LONG TIME AND SHE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS DIAGNOSED AND TREATED MY PROBLEMS WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND CARE.SHE ACTUALLY CARES FOR ME. I BELIEVE THE ATTITUDE OF THE PATIENT IS WHAT MAKES OR BREAKS THE DOCTOR VISIT. EX: IF YOU ARE ALREADY DOWN AND OUT HAVE A NEG ATTITUDE ...THEN YOU EXPERIENCE WITH DR. ATIENZA WILL BE UNDESIRABLE TO YOU NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES. DR A EXPECTS COMMITMENT FROM OUR PATIENTS FOR THEIR CARE; AFTER ALL, THE PATIENT IS THE ONE WHO EATS NUTRITIONALLY,EXERCISES, TAKES MEDS AS DIRECTED AND REALLY TRIES TO AID IN THEIR WELL BEING OVERALL. BELIEVE ME I HAVE 4 DIAGNOSES WITH PAIN INVOLVED..NOT TO MENTION OTHER THINGS THAT MAKE THE PAIN WORSE.(BUT I AM NOT IN HOSPICE!!I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT AND FOR DR ATIENZA'S CARING MANNER, INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP ME AND PATIENCE WITH ME.THANK YOU DR ATIENZA.BUT YOU REALLY DO NEED TO DO SOMETHING WITH THE FRONT DESK STAFF AND SOME OF THE ONES WHO COVER THE CHECK… OUT DESKS FOR DR A AND DR ACOB. NURSES ARE EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. ONE NURSE COULD PAY A LITTLE MORE ATTENTION TO HER WORK AND ACT LIKE SHE IS LAZY.HOWEVER, DR ATIENZA IS THE ONE WHO IS THE DOCTOR AND I AM THE PATIENT..HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE..GIVE THE GIRLS A SMILE UP FRONT ETC AND BE GRATEFULLY AWAITING FOR DR. ATIENZA.

Dr.Atienza displays uncaring attitude, shows little regard to others, and has a reputation of dropping patients at whim without explanation, regardless of their needs. Money seems to be the driving force.
