Horrible bed side manner, didn’t properly examine my baby, heavy accent that’s difficult to understand, yet I’m Hispanic myself. Can’t believe her specialty is in pediatrics because she’s a total b##ch doesn’t listen, doesn’t care to listen... bad bad bad

My daughter received some immunization on a afternoon and started burned in fever by 1am. Her fever was 104.5 so we decided to take her to the Children's Emergency Room off Immokalee Rd. 1. She barely looked at my 4 month baby. 2. She was rude and asked very ineffective and unrelatable questions about my child's condition. In which is surprising since she knew my daughter had taken immunization shots that afternoon and was expected to have high fever. 3. Barely spoke english, I couldn't understand one word she was saying. Believe me, I'm international myself, if there was someone in that room that should/could understand what she was saying, that would have been me!! 4. Was rude, and cold with my 4 month baby! Barely examined her, and extremely indifferent to her symptoms. Again, she had take immunization shots that afternoon, the minimum she could have said was, high fever is to be expected, and it was a good idea you brought her in! Nop, nothing! We got NOTHING FROM THIS so… called DOCTOR!!!! 5. Back to the unreliable questions, here you have a 4 month baby with a 104 fever, and she is asking my about my delivery, and telling me to use mask because I mentioned I had a sore throat. AGAIN, she had just taken her 4-month immunization shots! Fever was to be expected. And she went on and on and on on asking about what problems I had after my delivery. I mean, at some point, I stop talking to this so to call doctor. My bill was simply $858 for nothing! For feeling like I did the wrong thing bringing her in. Feeling taken advantage of. What did she think? We wanted to be there with our 4-month baby in the middle of the night? Were we waisting her precious time? Where did she get her degree from? I wish I could ask the director of the clinic this questions. I'm glad my daughter only had high fever. I could not even imagine what could have happened if it was something very serious. Parents out there, be AWARE!

You maybe working for an emergency or a fast pace agency, but you make sure you use your listening skills when assessing your patients. Well, I am glad she is not my kids peds. I felt like she was not listening, she cut me off, every time I explain something. How do you conclude a diagnosis if you do not listen to your patients problem. I know you want to do a focus assessment but skipping all the pertinent information will lead you no where. Where are all the great doctors, with good manners? Sad
