Dr. Maria Carmen Cubillas, MD

This doctor is god sent. She treated me as if I was her own and gave me advice that helped me manage my medical condition. This doctor really understands people, I wish all doctors were like her.

I have dealt with various Doctors in my life and I can say that no one compares to this Doctor. Many doctors are arrogant, and hardly spend time with a patient, and if they do, they usually treat you like a patient/object to complete, not a human being. This Doctor is not like that; she treats the patient with professionalism, but also shows respect and concern and follows up with the patients. Interestingly, she felt like a caring mother and at the same time knows what she's doing professionally. I have to say she is the best doctor I have seen in my life. The staff was respectful and professional as well. It's not like a clinic that they only care about your money, it feels like a family there.

This doctor is amazing. She's extremely knowledgable in her profession, and best of all, she is extremely kind and expresses deep concern for her patients. I have never met a doctor as amazing as this one. I've been with this doctor for 5 years, and I do not want anyone else! The clinic is professional and the secretaries are kind. To me, this is the best doctor in Homestead, Florida.

I have to disclose that this is not a review of the doctor herself (I never got to meet her) but of her staff. Every person I encountered in this place was beyond disrespectful and they offer by far the worst customer service in Homestead. I got to the clinic and had to wait over 5 minutes for someone to actually come outside and tell me that they were taking their lunch lunch. Mind you, I had called twice before and they told me to show up a bit before 2pm and it was 1:15. I asked the person if they took lunch at the same time everyday so i could come back the next day since I was there on my own lunch break from work. She asked me at what time did i need to leave and I told her 1:40 the latest. She asked me to give her a second, that she was going to tell the lady to come outside. She went inside. I heard laughing, talking, etc. I waited until 1:40 and nobody ever came outside to tell me anything. I walked out. After sharing my experience afterwards, several people who have gone… there told me that they also had to wait a long time before anyone even asked them if they could help them. They must believe they are the only clinic in Homestead who do immigration physicals. That s the only justification i can find for treating NEW CLIENTS like they are dispensable.
