She was incredibly helpful when I had seen her a number of years ago. She was kind, caring, and empathetic. She quickly grasped what I was going through. And she was there to work with me on my issues (during my time of need). She put in place a very effective strategy for me to handle and resolve what I was going through at the time. Everyone at a time of crisis and needing to see a professional would be extremely lucky and to see/find someone as understanding and effective as Dr. Currier. Her office staff was also great and took a genuine interest in how I was doing when I came in for my appointments.

She always listens carefully to all my concerns, staff very friendly mostly Antonio. Glad she is my doctor.

I went to her years ago and at first she was ok. Except that I noticed that she really didn't care about how I was feeling emotionally (I was being treated for Depression). All she cared about was if the meds were working. Ok. Well after I had a bad side effect (gaining over 30 pounds in a month) I went back to her. She wanted to switch medications & I told her I did not want to take any more meds and at that point she asked me if I was being non-compliant? What? And she proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to get with the program then she would call her friend over in the Jackson psych ward and they could have a bed ready for me ASAP. And then she could watch me 24/7. I asked her what does she want me to do. I played along and sat through the whole session with her like nothing happened. Then I left and never went back to her. No one should be subjected to that. Dr. Maria B. Currier is unstable, a bully, and a danger to anyone who does not comply with whatever she wants.
