Dr. Maria Labonette Fondal, MD

Dr. Fondal and her staff are AWESOME!! ?? She is professional, kind and very well respected in the medical community. I HIGHLY recommend her for your rheumatology needs.

My first visit I feel like Dr. Fondal genuinely cared and was concerned, she ran a lot of the bloodwork as well as ordered x-rays. When I returned for my second follow-up visit It was rushed, no one had even sent out for my x-ray results they were unprepared for my visit. I sat in the treatment room for over 20 minutes waiting to see the doctor only for someone to knock on the door after five minutes of the Dr. being in the room to wrap up my appt. I’ve called on the phone with several concerns regarding my lupus flare ups, I never get a call back and when I do finally call them back after several days of waiting to get an answer I actually get attitude from the staff.

New patient, saw Dr. Fondal one time, she said she would give me two medications and it is two weeks later and I still dont have them. I have talked to Karen the same lady in the office three times and each time she apologizes and says she will give the note to the doctor that the medicines were never called into my pharmacy. STILL NOTHING. This is so FRUSTRATING as a new patient who is IN PAIN. I would not have seeked help from a specialist if I did not need it... I am on hold RIGHT NOW as we speak with Karen. Im ovber it, I will not come for a second visit. Who needs a doctor that is not attentive to a first time patient when CLEARLY its her office staff or herself that have made the error. If you have an immediate need.. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.

so unorganized. lost records and had me listed with wrong diagnosis. dr distracted and totally rushed. gave up after 3rd visit. total waste. finding new doctor.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The first visit they were on their best behavior, by the second it was a hour wait time and they forgot they where they put test results. By the third, the office staff was rude, unprofessional, and a hour and a half wait time! The Dr became just as bad. They overcharged us and said they would pay back within 30 days and still have not and it's been 4 months!

My ANA was positive, and I have Interstitial Cystitis and Hashimoto's. I went to Dr. Fondal to rule out Lupus. She did not address any of my concerns about IC, and I doubt she even knew what it was. Rather than asking about the symptoms I was having, she didn't listen to a word I said, clicked away at her computer and ordered more blood tests. She would not tell me what any of the blood tests were and I waited three weeks for the results. The results were in the computer, but I had to drive up there to get her attention long enough to read them. I still have no new answers and am seeing a new rheumatologist in two days. She is smug and uncaring. This woman is dismissive and very likely the worst dr I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I waited for two hours just to see her, and that wasn't even the worst of it. She's awful. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, unless I didn't like them.

The first visit to her was ok , the second visit was a disaster . I never met a doctor that is so aloof combative and down right arrogant . These diseases are serious conditions and if she dont care about her patients she should not be a doctor. I wish I would have read reviews about her before going . She didn't want to explain to me why she was putting me on meds , she don't know her patients , she spends her time staring at the computer , never eye contact, it was one of the worst dr ever . She was very disrespectful telling me that she explain to me the last visit which was a lie because my results didn't come back to next 2nd visit . She didn't want to explain to me the reasoning for the meds if the results came back negative she then went on to say instead of her taking a minutes to explain she rather print out a information on the web I can do that myself she was so rude I couldn't believe it. So Please do your self a favor and find another dr so u won't experience the… negativity from this women . I'm am now looking for another dr that cares to explain the why's and the because '. She needs a therapist to help her with her negative attitude , her vibe and energy is not good for people that are finding out they have a problem and not want to be concise so the patient can walk away confident in knowing that they know what's going on with them . That's what she is getting paid for we the patients keep her lights on and for her to act as if we don't matter n we need her as out of control . She needs to humble herself . She needs to be told about her self , I'm glad I did and I'm over it !

I had my first visit with Dr Fondal last week. I am completely happy with my consult and I'm looking forward to following up.

Dr Fondal is awesome. She was very thorough, and very caring.
