The office staff is amazing- friendly and well organized is an understatement. They have a waiting list system that I have never experienced before, which every medical office needs to adopt, which enabled me to see Dr. Gutierrez a few weeks before my original appointment- although she would’ve been worth any wait. Dr. Gutierrez is one of the best physicians I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She was genuinely concerned and treated me like a person as opposed to a mere patient or number. She listens well while simultaneously devising practical solutions that is relative to the individual. She was extremely patient in addressing all of my issues, concerns (of which there were many), and answered all questions that I had. I am especially grateful for Dr. Gutierrez as I know how challenging it is to find a good endocrinologist.

Barbara Perez is the only person that can handle billing disputes. She is conveniently only in the office once a month for a very brief window. There is no other way to reach her except on the days she is in, except by email. She does not return phone calls or emails and it took 3 months before I heard from her finally. She then gave me erroneous info that my insurance agent disputed, The office is involved in sending out tests to companies that are not covered by the patients insurance. They use those companies without the permission of the patient and then send the patient into collections when they refuse to pay. The proper procedure is to contact the patient's insurance and find a company that is covered. Something unethical is going on in this office and I am unable to get any resolution.

i tried to call for first time patient appointment and she insisted to have lab work before she even considers a first time appointment. there is no process to inform the patient of a tentative timeline when they will get back, they never asked our contact information to get back. She as just trying to get rid of me. If so, please say you are NOT accepting new patients.

She really takes time to listen and respond to what ever I have to say. She is very special in my life.

Dr Maria is a very intuitive doctor. Some say she may be the best in the area, & she really takes her time to see what is wrong with you. Very happy patient.

Dr. Gutierrez is the best endocrinologist I've seen in 36 yrs. Been with her over 15 yrs. Incredibly knowledgeable, keeps current on developments in field, able to handle multiple disorders and their interactions, multi-faceted treatment plans include contributory vitamin deficiencies and stress related reactions. Spends time needed to answer all questions. Works with other doctors. See her.
