Dr. Maria G. Guzman Burgos, MD

Dr. Maria G. Guzman Burgos, a dedicated primary care physician, completed her medical internship at Santa Rosa Hospital in Guayama, Puerto Rico, in 2005. Dr. Guzman Burgos earned her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology Science (Pre-Med) from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayag ez Campus. Before joining our center as a primary care physician in 2022, Dr. Guzman Burgos treated patients with IMA East Colonial in Orlando, Florida, from 2016 to 2022 and previously with Tiger Medical Corporation in Caguas, Puerto Rico, from 2013 to 2015. Earlier, she worked as a medical advisor in the Office of the Patient Advocate in Santurce, PR. Dr. Guzman Burgos chose to pursue a medical career with a deep commitment to safeguarding the well-being of older adults. Passionate about addressing concerns affecting seniors, such as diabetes, exercise, food insecurity, loneliness & …socialization, nutrition, and obesity, she believes in attentive listening to help enhance her patients' health and quality of life. In her free time, she treasures moments spent with her family.
