Summary

Dr. Hill first moved to Austin in 1953, and attended Duke University and the University of Texas, then earned his M.D. degree at the U.T. Medical Branch in Galveston. After an internship year in Phoenix, then military service as a Flight Surgeon and Chief of Public Health, he returned to Galveston to complete the four-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. The next year he was honored to do fellowship training in London under pioneer joint-replacement surgeon Dr. M.A.R. Freeman, and was lecturer and research fellow at the London Hospital.
Since 1979 Dr. Hill has been a partner in Medical Park Orthopaedic Clinic and has served as its President. Also, at Seton Medical Center he has served as Chief of Orthopaedics and Chairman of the Committee on Quality Improvement.
